Mr.Wang is the principal of BaoBao Arts Centre and an all around musician and teacher. In 1990 Xiaohui Received his Masters in Music Education at the Saskatchewan University with a major in piano performance. From 1990-1996 he was the conductor and band director of Alberta Kitscoty Secondary School band. From 1997 to his retirement in 2017, Mr. Wang was the leading band/music teacher of King George Secondary School. Mr. Wang has dedicated more then 30 years in music education and wished to continue nurture future generation in the wonderful world of the arts through BaoBao Arts Centre.

Dr. Rozanski was the first artist to receive a Doctorate of Music (Piano) from a Canadian University. Through out his career he has performed solo and chamber music concerts in Canada and the United States. He has been the concerto soloist with conductors such as Kazuyoshi Akiyama, Bruce Dunn and David Hoyt. Dr. Rozanski is also a composer and arranger of acoustic and electronic music. Some of his works include the “Reflections of Childhood.”

Zsuzsanna Lukacs is an accomplished pianist, with 30 years’ experience as both a

performer and an instructor. 

Her educational background is extensive, having graduated from the Gheorghe Dima

Academy of Music in Cluj- Napoca in Romania and obtaining a Ier Prix de Virtuosite at the Lausanne Conservatory in Switzerland, later a Master's Degree in Piano Performance at UBC. Zsuzsanna also studied chamber music at the European Mozart Academy in Poland

and attended several courses and masterclasses in both Europe and Canada. 

Zsuzsanna has performed several times at the Vancouver Chutzpah Festival, with actress Naava Piatka, soprano Kyra Folk-Farber and violinist Zina Schiff. Together with Zina, Zsuzsanna held many concerts in Canada and the US. She was also featured three times on CBC Radio 2,  as an accompanist for the Okanagan Vocal Arts Festival, the Borealis String Quartet, the Christ Church Cathedral Choir, and singers Paul Moore and Melina Schein. Presently, Zsuzsanna is the accompanist of the "High Spirits Choir" and the "Les

Echos du Pacifique Choir". 

Alongside her tenured career as a performer, Zsuzsanna has also taught piano for numerous schools including Ecole de Musique de la Broye, Ecole de Musique de

Cheseaux-Romanel, the Lausanne Conservatory in Switzerland, the Community Music

School at UBC.

Denis Khvatov

Denis studied at the Gnessins Musical and Pedagogical Institute in Moscow, completing both his Bachelors and Master degrees. Before immigrating to Canada, Denis worked as a piano instructor and an accompanist for various music schools in Moscow. Since arriving in Canada, Denis has authored and self-published music books for beginner to advanced pianists. Denis also composes and arranges music for music theatre, and is winner of the First and Special Prize in Composition at the International Dimitri Kabalevsky Music Competition in Moscow 2017.

Sarah graduated with a Master in Music Education at Ewha Women's University majoring in piano and composition. She was also a selection of students that was offered a scholarship at the Berklee College of Music. She was the music professor at Baeksuk University, the director of Bluebird Music Academy, and the director of Trinity Academy of Music. With over 26 years of experience in education, Sarah has devoted her time in teaching not just classical music but also jazz and contemporary. A passionate composer as well, Sarah was the music arranger for the Yulbag Church orchestra for many years.

Renowned violinist Puya has been a professional violinist and teacher with over 20 years of experience. He received his Bachelor in Music Performance at the University of British Columbia, and his Master in Violin Performance at the Universitat Mozarteum Salzburg, Austria.Since 2010 he has been teaching and active member of some of the biggest organization, such as United in Music for Peace under the U.N, World Youth Orchestra (UNISCO musica Europa). Throughout the years Puya has performed numerous times with a number of most prestigious orchestras around the world. He has performed in more than 45 countries and cities all around the world which has given him the opportunity to work with the finest Conductors, Soloists and Musicians.
He was the member of The World Orchestra, Unicef Musica Europa, Festival ensemble Stuttgart, World Youth Orchestra, Rome Festival Opera Orchestra, Kamloops symphony, West Coast Symphony, National Academy Orchestra of Canada, Prince George symphony, Salzburg Chamber, The age of enlightenment and Malaysian philharmonic Orchestra.

Professsor Arnold completed his Masters in Music at the Gnessin Music Institute. From 1971-1973 he served as the soloist of the “Rosconcert ” Ancient Music Ensemble. In 1973 he was invited to the famous Moscow Chamber Orchestra directed by Rudolf Barshai. Between 1990 and 1992, Arnold worked in the “Galilee Soloists” ensemble, first as the leader’s assistant, and later as the ensemble’s leader. He performed with the ensemble in the USA and Canada. Professor Arnold was the concertmaster of “Israel Camerata” directed by Avner Birton for 30 years until his retirement in 2021 where he was made honorary member of the “Israel Camerata”.  With this orchestra he also performed as a soloist and took part in multiple musical festivals in France and Germany. Arnold’s festival work also includes solo performances with the Belgian “I Fiamminghi” orchestra, as well as his work as a leader and musical director with the Austrian “Arppeggione” chamber orchestra. Alongside his performance career, Professor Arnold had been teaching violin in music schools, as well as the Jerusalem Music Academy.

Emily received her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance at the University of British Columbia. Emily motivates her students through effective program instruction based around literature, vocals, and instrumentation. As an all around musician, Emily specializes in violin, piano, and voice. In 2015, Emily was the vocal champion of the Fairchild Radio Competition.

Yu received Masters degree in cello performance at the University of Victoria. He is Awards winner of national, state and University music contests.  He was the Principal cellist of British Columbia Philharmonic Orchestra and the Shandong Symphony Orchestra and other orchestras. Through out Yu’s 40 years of music career and teaching, Yu has an exceptional wide range of solo and ensemble performance experiences in Canada and China.  Major repertoire he performed as the soloist with orchestras including:Dvorak Concerto in B Minor Op.104Tchaikovsky Rococo Variations, Op.33Saint-Saens-Cello Concerto no1 in A Minor Op.33

 Juyeon’s musical journey began at the age of five when she started learning the piano. Born and raised in South Korea, she began learning the cello at the age of ten. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Cello Performance from Suwon University and a Master's degree from Ewha Womans University. Over the course of her career, she has been a guest performer in numerous orchestras and ensemble teams. For the past 18 years, she has been actively teaching cello, guiding students of all ages and levels with passion to unleash their musical potential.

Lawrence Woodall specializes in woodwinds (flute, saxophone, clarinet, oboe). He has performed all over the world in theatre orchestras for touring Broadway Musicals and in show bands backing up some of the world’s top artists.

He graduated Magnum cum Laude from Boston’s prestigious Berklee School of Music and went on to study in New York City. His show credits include 42nd Street in Japan, Evita in Germany, West Side Story in Switzerland, A Chorus Line in Taiwan and Singapore, and the first national tour of Music Man in the United States.

He also toured with Jack Jones and with Michael Bolton, and has played for the Temptations, Shirley Jones, the 5th Dimension and many others. Locally, he has played for Crazy for You and The Wizard of Oz at the Gateway Theatre in Richmond.

Teaching and mentoring are an important part of Mr. Woodall’s life; before he joined BaoBao Arts Centre he taught flute at Brooklyn College and at Dutchess Community College.

Eunhye Lee is a highly experienced flutist and dedicated music educator with a specialized

curriculum tailored for students preparing for music school auditions and competitions. With

years of experience as a judge in various music school entrance exams and competitions,

she provides targeted, expert-level instruction in flute repertoire and orchestral excerpts. Her

teaching combines the skills of a seasoned performer, focusing on building a solid

foundation for beginners, including posture and sound development, to foster a lasting

interest in the flute.

Eunhye began her orchestral career as Principal Flutist with the National Police Symphony

Orchestra upon graduation and served as a guest principal piccolo player for the Gangnam

Symphony Orchestra for many years. Her passion for music education has led her to

teaching positions at Inje University, Anyang Arts High School, and Sunhwa Arts Middle

School in Korea, where she has mentored many students who successfully gained

admission to prestigious music institutions and universities.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Music from Yonsei University in Korea and a Master's

degree from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University in the United States. Eunhye

has been recognized with the Artistic Excellence Award and Performer’s Certificate from

Jacobs School of Music and was granted the Graduate Tuition Fellowship for her DMA

program at Houston University in Texas.

Mr. Samek completed a Bachelor of Music Education at the University of Windsor in 2006 and a Master of Music in Performance at the University of Toronto in 2008. After graduating he joined the percussion ensemble Scrap Arts Music and toured North America, Europe, and Asia until 2017. He has also been a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, the Band of the Ceremonial Guard, a Montreal-based Marimba duo, a Toronto-based percussion trio, and has had the opportunity to study for two years at the Banff Centre for the Arts. 

Percussionist Greg Samek has been teaching drums and classical percussion instruments to students for many years! He enjoys structuring lessons, where students not only have a fun component of drumming along with their favorite tune but also learn music theory. Many of Greg’s students have successfully passed RCM exams in percussion instruments. Mr. Samek is very keen on communication with parents and students to make sure that each class is tailored individually for the specific needs of each student.

Amanda is the creative director and drawing and painting teacher at BaoBao Arts Centre. After graduating Emily Carr University of Art Design in an industrial design major, Amanda along with her family went on to devote the rest of the years to building the art and music school that is today BaoBao Art Centre. With 9+ years of experience in both art and music teaching, Amanda enjoys the process which she shares with her students in finding their best inner creativity and expression.

Aside from her passion in teaching art, Amanda is also a certified RCM piano teacher. She completed her piano ARCT Performance while studying at the Vancouver Academy of Music under Lorraine Ambroise, and later finished her piano elementary pedagogy. Many of her piano students are able to find their interest and connection with music after experiencing the bond and energy Amanda has to give to her students through lessons.

Horae is a pianist from Hong Kong

As a graduate of Music Education In Hong Kong Baptist University, Horae Lee works as a piano teacher, collaborative pianist and ensemble coach. She began her instrumental training since she was 3, and was awarded DipABRSM in piano music performance when she was 15. She was taught by Mr. Chui Shiguang, Ms. Grace Lau and Ms. Jacklyn Chan. Horae is also experienced on conducting. She led various school

handbell choir and got inter-school competition champions consecutively in Hong Kong. Working as a freelance musician, Horae was passionate on different performances and music education. She always want to share the happiness through performance and music teaching.

Ash is a distinguished musician and educator with a dynamic career that spans over a decade. A passionate performer since the age of 10, Ashutosh has garnered acclaim as a solo guitarist, including his notable appearance at the National Level Youth Festival in 2015. His expertise in music arrangement has enriched various college performances and earned him a prestigious role representing Kuk University at the Inter-University Youth Festival in 2016.

His formal education includes a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Music Performance from Panjab University, alongside achieving Guitar Grade 8 Performance from RSL Awards. His musical journey has led him to international stages, having performed with the Indian Ensemble at Berklee College of Music in Boston. With over 10 years of experience in performing and teaching, Ashutosh has performed at some of the most esteemed venues in Dubai, North America, Europe, Singapore, India, and Australia. He continues to inspire through his performances and teachings, always pushing the boundaries of his art.

Zoey graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Art and Game Design. During her college years, she studied professional digital painting. With nearly 8 years of experience in scene concept design and 2D background art design in both China and Canada, she has contributed to the production of many well-known online games. Zoey is a cheerful art teacher who strives to inspire and motivate her students.

Ms. Stokes was educated and trained as a teacher (Bachelor of Education) in England before moving to BC. She taught English and Visual Arts in the Coquitlam School District for 26 years. While teaching at SD#43, she gained a Bachelor of General Studies at Simon Fraser University in 1990 and a Master’s of Science from the University of Oregon, USA in 1994. During her teaching career she served on the Executive of the BC Art Teachers’ Association as VP and then as President and was also Chair of the Visual Arts Committee at the Evergreen Cultural Centre in Coquitlam. In 2013 Ms. Stokes was awarded the CSEA (Canadian Society of Education through Art) ‘Art Excellence Award’ for teaching Art in BC.

Many of Ms. Stokes’ students have received acceptance into prestigious art and design schools in the US and Canada such as Emily Carr University of Art and Design, OCAD, Maryland Institute of Art.

A passionate Emily Carr University of Art & Design graduate as well as a dedicated teacher with 8+ years of experience in caring for children, Jessy specialises in cultivating Drawing & Painting techniques while nurturing the colourful imagination of young aspiring artists. Through her dynamic and engaging approach, she empowers her students to explore their unique artistic voices, pushing boundaries and unlocking their full creative potential.

Ding, in her early years, studied under the Japanese quilting master Yoko Okamoto and obtained the qualification of quilting and embroidery instructor awarded by the Japan Handicraft Association. Her quilting works have won multiple awards, and in 2013, her work “Blooming Life” won the Grand Prize at the 5th Asian Quilt Festival. Ding wishes to share her love of crafts with her fellow students and help them discover that with care and attention anyone can be a unique artist.
